Hall County property taxes, mailed out in mid September are due Thursday.
Tax Commissioner Darla Eden said after Thursday they are considered to be late. She said after the due date, the state will apply a month interest of .625 percent and penalties will happen 120 days after the due date.
"November 15th is the due date for personal and real property along with homesteaded mobile homes," Eden said. "That follows the billing date of September 15, 2018. As a reminder to everyone, 2018 is the calendar year the taxes are due for."
Eden says those who owe can pay online at HallCountyTax.org, pay by mail if postmarked November, 15. Payment can be delivered by hand to the tax commissioner's office at 2875 Browns Bridge Road, or leave payment in the the outside drop box at that location.
