FLOWERY BRANCH – Madison Hughes and Hollie Beussee combined for 27 points to lead Lanier Christian Academy over Providence Christian 53-38, Monday night.
Hughes netted a game-high 14 points, and Beussee tossed in 13 in the win over Providence.
The Lightning set the pace in the first half, outscoring Providence 24-15. Providence closed the gap in the third quarter, and again in the fourth, but Lanier Christian's first-half output was too much to overcome.
