Lane closures are planned each night this week as part of the construction of Exit 14 on I-985 between Oakwood and Flowery Branch, according to the Gainesville office of the Georgia Department of Transportation.
A posting on the office's Facebook page reads "Exit 14 work next week November 5th-9th Nightly Left Lane Closure on I-985 North from Spout Springs Road to Mundy Mill/SR 53 from 8 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. Nightly Left Lane Closure on I-985 South from Mundy Mill/SR 53 to Spout Springs Road from 7 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. We are performing this work to mill and pave the left shoulder. Exit 14 & Martin Rd."
