Almost 6,000 people cast ballots Saturday in Forsyth County

Saturday voting in Forsyth County saw almost 6,000 people cast early ballots. 
 
Forsyth County resident Romi Chadwick told AccessWDUN that the lines at the Sharon Springs precinct stretched outside and took approximately 45 minutes to get through Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the Forsyth County Voter Registrations and Elections website, 5,956 people took advantage of weekend voting.
 
That brings the total number of advanced votes cast in Forsyth County to 21,720.
