Penny Clack has been named the Director of the Barrow County Emergency Management Agency. Clack has served as Deputy EMA Director since 2009.
A graduate of Winder-Barrow High School, Clack started with Barrow County as an EMT in 1988 and has worked for the county in various positions since then.
“I am honored to be placed in this role and look forward to continuing to develop the plans we have as well as building the relationships that I have in this field,” she said. “This county has some great people and organizations in it and has done some incredible work in emergency management. I look forward to the challenges of continuing to build off what we have done as we prepare for the future in Barrow County.”
