A Gainesville man remained behind bars Tuesday afternoon following his arrest Monday on a warrant for child molestation, authorities said.
Investigators obtained a warrant for Timothy Lucas Rink's arrest this past Friday, according to Hall County Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware.
"In September 2017, Rink sexually molested a minor female child at a location in Hall County, Georgia," Ware wrote in a media release.
Authorities arrested Rink in the area of Wallace Road and Priest Circle off of U.S. 129/Athens Highway.
Ware said the case is still under investigation.
Rink was being held in the Hall County Jail on $13,950 bond, according to an online inmate population list for the Hall County Jail.
