Fire destroys White County school superintendent's home

CLEVELAND — Fire destroyed a home at 185 Teal Mountain Drive, west of Cleveland, just after noon Monday.  

Flames were visible when White County fire units arrived on scene. 

The home belonged to White County School Superintendent Jeff Wilson, his wife Karen and their family. No one was at home and no injuries were reported. 

State fire investigator Brian Smith was called to determine the cause of the fire. 

The Bridge Church in Cleveland has established a fund to help the Wilson family with the loss of their home and contents.

All proceeds collected for the family will go directly to them, with no administrative fees deducted.
