Plans for a medical office building in Gainesville and a 194-lot subdivision in West Hall are among proposals recently recommended for approval by the city and county planning staffs.
Both proposals will be taken up by the city and county planning commissions this week.
The subdivision would be age-restricted and located on Stephens Road near Flat Creek Road.
The medical office building is slated for the intersection of Park Hill Drive and Enota on Gainesville's north side. The city planning staff is also recommending approval of plans for a boat sales dealership on McEver Road at Hillside Gardens.
One other item getting a favorable recommendation, this one in the county, is a new poultry processing plant near Memorial Park and Industrial drives
All four of these items are expected to be taken up when the two planning groups meet on Tuesday.
