Gainesville City Clerk Denise Jordan is reminding citizens that Oct. 10 is the last day to register to vote in the Nov. 7 City of Gainesville election.

Jordan said there are several options for registration, including online at http://sos.ga.gov/index.php/elections, the Hall County Registrar’s Office located at 2285 Browns Bridge Road, any public library, while obtaining/renewing drivers licenses and the Georgia Votes mobile app available through iTunes. Voter registration forms are also available in the City Clerk’s Office.

Jordan said individuals who have changed their names or addresses since the last time they voted should update voter registration records as soon as possible.

“Voters can review their information currently on file, by googling 'My Voter Page' or by contacting the Hall County Registrar’s Office at www.hallcounty.org,” said Jordan in an email statement.

The Nov. 7 election will include the race for City Council Ward 4, as well as the uncontested races for Mayor, City Council Ward 1, and Board of Education Districts 1 and 4.
