A driver was taken to the hospital following a collision with a Hall County school bus Thursday afternoon.
None of the seven students on board the bus, nor the bus driver, were hurt as the bus brought students home from Riverbend Elementary School, said Gordon Higgins, Hall County Schools spokesman.
The wreck happened on U.S. 129 North near Scenic Drive just before 3 p.m.
The injured driver apparently rear-ended the school bus.
"Parents of the students were notified by Riverbend administration and came to the scene to pick up their children," said Higgins in an email to AccessWDUN.
The extent of the driver's injuries was not immediately available.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
