The Georgia Department of Transportation will host an open house next week, seeking public comment on the proposed widening of a portion of Ga. 371/Post Road in Forsyth County.
The suggested work is split into two projects, one involves widening the road between Ga. 9 and Kelly Mill Road. The second would include the section between Kelly Mill Road and Ga. 20.
GDOT officials will be on hand from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 5 to answer questions and discuss the projects.
During the session at Vickery Creek Elementary School, citizens can provide written comments on cards or offer verbal comments to a court reporter, according to a GDOT news release.
Residents may also submit comments via the GDOT website or through postal mail through October 19.
