TIGER — West Hall came in as hot as any team in northeast Georgia. The only problem was that Rabun County was hotter on Friday night.
The Wildcats held West Hall to just 148 total yards for the game and got five total touchdowns from Bailey Fisher in a 49-8 romp over the Spartans at Frank Snyder Stadium.
Rabun County (4-0) scored on its first two possessions getting a 5-yard touchdown pass from Fisher to Dillyn Nichols and a 2-yard touchdown run from Brison Beck for a 14-0 first quarter lead. The Wildcats got a 9-yard scoring run from Fisher and an interception return for a touchdown from A.J. Wheeler in the second quarter for a 28-0 halftime lead.
Fisher and Nichols each had touchdown runs in the third quarter Fisher scored again in the fourth quarter as Rabun County led 49-0. The Spartans (4-2) got a 2-yard touchown run from Michael Thompson with 1:30 left in the game to break the shutout.
Fisher finished with 94 yards rushing and 202 yards passing for the Wildcats.Cole Keener had seven catches for 92 yards for Rabun County.
Quentin Smith had 47 yards rushing to pace West Hall.
