M-D Building Products, Inc., the parent company of Tower Sealants, this week announced a $2.5 million capital investment and the addition of 20 new jobs to its Gainesville location.
The company, located on Memorial Park Road, currently has 50 employees, having doubled that number in the past two years.
Tower Sealants is a manufacturer of caulks and sealants that are marketed and sold under the Tower Sealants brand, as well as other private label brands. The company opened its 134,000 square foot Gainesville facility in 2006. The new expansion includes installation of the latest mixing and packaging technology.
“We are proud to continue to invest in our Gainesville-Hall County location and our employees to keep up with the sales growth we have experienced,” said Loren Plotkin, President, M-D Building Products.
