Firefighters from the Gainesville Fire Department will be collecting money today, tomorrow and Saturday as part of the 28th annual “Give Burns the Boot” drive.
Proceeds will help the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation in educating the public in burn awareness and prevention, support medical facilities in the care of burns in Georgia, and assist burn survivors in their recovery.
Hall County Fire Services will be participating next month - on October 13, 20, and 27.
Firefighters will be at various locations collecting money.
In addition, the city fire department is acception donations at its headquarters on Pine Street off Queen City Parkway.
