The state's Judicial Nominating Commission has begun taking nominations for a fifth Superior Court Judge to serve Hall and Dawson counties.
Nominations will be accepted through October 6 from members of the public and the state Bar of Georgia.
The fifth judgeship was created earlier this year by the state Legislature when it approved HB 138.
