A 3-year-old who nearly drowned when she fell in a pool Monday afternoon is in critical but stable condition, Hall County Sheriff's deputies confirmed Tuesday.
Kenlee Ward of Dayton, Ohio apparently wandered away from her family at a vacation home they were renting in the Marina Bay subdivision, then fell in the pool, said Deputy Stephen Wilbanks, Sheriff's Office spokesman.
Family members pulled her from the water and performed CPR until emergency responders made it to the scene.
Ward was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, then to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. Monday.
