TOCCOA — Rabun County may not have put together the offensive explosion of week 1, but Friday night proved just as successful for the Wildcats, as they pushed past Stephens Coungty 28-6 in Toccoa.
Rabun showed it can also win low-scoring contests, allowing just 244 total yards, as the Wildcats (2-0) scored one touchdown in each quarter before the Indians finally got on the scoreboard in the fourth.
Quarterback Bailey Fisher manufactured all four Rabun touchdowns, two passing and two rushing, while also putting up 293 total yards. The senior completed 10 of 16 passes for 189 yards, including a 55-yard scoring strike to Cole Keener in the first quarter and an 8-yard pass to Bryson Beck in the third quarter. Fisher also rushed 26 times for 119 yards.
Stephens County rushed for 161 yards.
The Indians (1-1) will look to bounce back next week at Flowery Branch.
Rabun County, meanwhile, travels to White County next week.
