Gainesville alters garbage pick-up schedule for Labor Day holiday

The City of Gainesville will be closed Monday, September 4 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday’s garbage and recycling routes will run one day behind, according to a press statement from city government offices.

Thursday and Friday route schedules will remain the same.
