Ben Bales entered the 2017 season knowing he would get a chance to sling the ball around a few times each game -- but nothing like what he experienced on Friday night.
By the time the dust settled on North Forsyth's showdown with Johns Creek, Bales had attempted 43 passes and owned a program single-game record of 408 yards through the air.
What's more his three touchdown passes helped lead North Forsyth to a 28-6 victory and an impressive bounce back victory after dropping a nip-and-tuck season opener.
For his efforts, Bales has been named the Friday Game Night, Coca-Cola United Bottling Player of the Week.
Friday Game Night's Morgan Lee recently caught up with Bales to talk about his big night, his team's offensive surge, and the season ahead for the Raiders. To watch a video of the interview, simply click "play" above.
