Hall chamber's annual Healthcare Reform Seminar set for Aug. 31

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s 6th Annual Healthcare Reform Seminar is Thursday, August 31 from 8:00 am-11:30 am at the Brenau Downtown Center.

The meeting will focus on the Affordable Care Act and preparing for the ACA Open Enrollment, Department of Labor Compliance and Employee Wellness. 

Presenters will discuss the individual health insurance plans available to local consumers, the reduced ACA open enrollment period (Nov. 1, 2017 to Dec. 15, 2017), how to be prepared for a Department of Labor audit as well as strategies for employee wellness programs. 

As featured keynote speaker, Dr. John Montgomery's presentation will address population health and how employers can best support a healthy employee population.  According to a news rerlease from the chamber, he is a nationally recognized physician leader and executive from Jacksonville, Fla., with years of experience linking health plans and providers with patient-centered strategies.
