The city of Suwanee is overhauling its website, and officials are hoping to get the public's input to shape its design.
The vendor, Vision, has created a 13 question survey, which can be found here.
City council members approved a contract for the new website in late June to the tune of $34,540.
Assistant City Manager Denise Brinson said at the time the contract was approved, the original city website — built two decades ago — was too cumbersome behind the scenes, even if it looked fairly sleek on the outside.
"Over 20 years it tends to get saturated with content, and gets rather difficult to navigate," said Brinson.
Currently, administrators have to maintain two separate sites -- one for desktop users and one for mobile users.
One of the main goals for the new website is to make it more usable on mobile devices, and it should be rolled out in the first quarter of 2018.
Officials said in a news release that they need 376 responses "in order to obtain statistical significance."
