Murrayville man busted with 50 marijuana plants, other drugs

A Murrayville man is facing a list of charges after authorities found $61,765 worth of narcotics at his home on Jake Kemp Road.

Jeffrey L. Ingram, 50, allegedly had 50 marijuana plants, six grams of has oil, 11 ounces of loose marijuana and 13 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms when authorities arrested him Monday, according to Lt. Don Scalia, Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad spokesman.

"It was a grow room that was inside. It was kind of adjacent to the garage area, and it had the lights and the hydroponic growing device," said Scalia.

The suspect was booked into the Hall County Jail without further incident.

Ingram is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana (felony), possession of hash oil and possession of Psilocybin mushrooms.

No further charges or arrests are expected.
