Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that damaged a South Hall home Sunday.
The house is in the 5600 block of McEver Road, according to Hall County Fire Services spokesman Zachary Brackett.
"Arriving units found an approximately 2500 square foot home with heavy black smoke coming from the attic," Brackett wrote in an email Sunday night. "An aggressive interior attack, coupled with roof ventilation, was utilized to extinguish the fire."
Brackett added there was no one home at the time of the fire.
