The Banks County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Public Safety and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) on Tuesday arrested Jessica Amerson Martinez, 31 of Homer on drug charges.
An ARDEO press release said the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in which Martinez was a passenger. During a search of the vehicle, the trooper located approximately 42 grams of methamphetamine in a bag that belonged to Martinez. The street value of the illegal narcotics was $4,620, according to the press statement.
Martinez was arrested for trafficking in methamphetamine and booked into the Banks County Detention Center.
