Members of the Hall County Republican Party will gather Saturday, June 10, at their headquarters to man a phone bank for 6th Congressional District Candidate Karen Handel, who is in a close race with Democrat Jon Ossoff.
As of May 15, according to a statement from the Hall County party, polls showed Ossoff with a two point lead in the race. "It is vital for everyone to do their best to make it out to make phone calls to show that the Hall County Republican Party wants to ensure that the 6th Congressional District is kept red!" the statement said.
The phone bank will be again noon and continue until 3:00 p.m. at party headquarters on Queen City Parkway in Gainesville.
Handel and Ossoff will meet in a runoff June 20.
The 6th District includes several places in north Atlanta, including Johns Creek, Roswell and Alpharetta.
