The Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County has monthly food distributions for low income families in the community's and this weekend's will include extras to help kick off summer.
The League is wrapping up the seventh year of its "Feeding Our Future" program with a distribution Saturday at 1547 Riverside Drive from 11:00-12:00.
League members will be sending kids into summer with summer toys and snacks. In addition, alll families will receive a basket full of cleaning products, household essentials, and a box of food.
This year, the program has served over 2,870 members of the community, including 1,680 children. The food distributions are held the third Saturday of each month.
