One adult and three juveniles have been displaced by a house fire that broke out late Friday evening in southern Hall County.
Fire Capt. Zach Brackett said in an email update received just after 8 p.m. that no injuries were reported in the Flowery Branch fire, which involved a residence on Old Orr Road off Hog Mountain Road.
"Arriving units found a fast moving fire in the first floor of an 1,800-square-foot home," Brackett explained. "A defensive attack was initially utilized to knock the bulk of fire down."
Brackett said firefighters were then able to shift into an offensive attack to fully extinguish the fire.
Due to the severity of the fire, Brackett said the American Red Cross was called to the scene to provide assistance to the four occupants who were displaced by the incident.
No cause has been determined at this time, and the investigation into the fire is ongoing.
