West Academy Street in Gainesville will be closed at its intersection with Jesse Jewell Parkway overnights, starting Sunday and continuing through Wednesday.
City officials say the closing is necessary so crews can complete work on crosswalk improvements.
The city is in the process of upgrading crosswalks in several locations in town.
