Fire damages two apartments, displaces 6 people in Cleveland

_{CLEVELAND — A fire that damaged two apartments displaced about a half-dozen people in Cleveland Sunday night.}

_{The fire, at Blue Ridge Apartments on Bryant Street, was dispatched about 7 p.m.}

_{Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said the occupant of one of the units left a Crockpot on a stove eye unattended and that started the blaze.}   

_{All occupants got out of the building prior to fire department arrival.}  

_{Pruitt said the fire ended up damaging two units. The American Red Cross was called to assist victims with immediate needs.}

_{Fire units remained on scene for about an hour.}
