Students interested in health-care and medical careers often join HOSA to learn more about specialized jobs in the medical industry. Three Hall county students, Amber Strickland, Melanie Valencia, and Emma Miller, won state titles at the 2017 HOSA competition in Atlanta, in the clinical nursing, patho-physiology, and medical reading subjects, respectively.
They share what drives them to be involved with such advanced medical topics and what their plans are for their future in medicine.
