RABBITTOWN — East Hall and Union County split a pair of key Region 7-AAA soccer matches Friday night at East Hall Stadium.
The East Hall boys took a 2-1 victory while the Union County girls pulled away for a 6-1 win over the Lady Vikings.
In the boys match, East Hall (8-2, 2-0 Region 7-AAA) got goals from Geizi Barrientos and Brandon Callahan with assists from Maury Ibarra and Sergio Turcios.
In the girls match, the Lady Vikings (2-7-1, 0-2) got their lone goal from Samantha Camacho off an assist from Jessenia Argueta. They are 0-5-1 in their last six matches after a 2-2 start.
Both East Hall tams will play host to Stephens County on Tuesday in non-region battles.
