*Jackson EMC recently announced that Cecelia Tatro, a junior at Hall County's Johnson High School, has been selected as a delegate to this year's Washington Youth Tour, June 8-15, sponsed by Georgia's electric cooperatives and organized by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. *Flowery Branch High School senior Braden Parks has accepted an appointment to attend the Air Force Academy as part of the class of 2021.
*Evan Smith, 11th grade North Forsyth High School, won 1st place in the High School Division of Georgia Tech’s Inventure Challenge and will compete in the National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurship Expo (NICEE) in Alexandria, VA, June 1-3.
