The Gainesville Board of Education will begin interviewing applicants for the soon-to-be vacant superintendent's post Saturday.
The board plans to meet in executive session (behind closed doors) at 8:30 at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center. Board members reviewed the applications at an earlier meeting.
The current superintendent, Wanda Creel, announced plans last September to resign at the end of the current school year.
