The Gainesville-Jefferson doubleheader baseball games scheduled for Tuesday in Jefferson have been moved to Wednesday due to inclement weather expected to move into the area.
First pitch for the first game on Wednesday will remain at 5 p.m.
The two teams are also scheduled to play a doubleheader on Friday at Ivey-Watson Field in Gainesville. First pitch for that doubleheader is also set for 5 p.m.
Both teams are off to excellent starts on the season. Jefferson is 6-1 while the Red Elephants are 5-1 coming into the four-game series.
