RABBITTOWN — Zack Wagner did not allow a hit and walked just one in six innings to lead Flowery Branch to a 2-1 victory over East Hall Tuesday at East Hall Park.
Wagner fanned seven in earning the win. Zander Sechrist allowed one run in one inning on two hits and a hit batter but he also fanned two to get the save.
The Falcons scored a run in the second and another in the sixth. The Vikings scored their only run in the seventh but could not get the equalizer.
Anthony Grutadaurio and Andrew Reichart had the two Flowery Branch hits.
uke Cooper took the tough loss or East Hall allowing just one hit and one run in five innings. Trevor Rider allowed one run on one hit in two innings ansd the pair combined to strike out 11 Falcons batters.
Mikey Matuska and Luke Holtzclaw had the two East Hall hits.
