Work is slated to continue Tuesday on the extension of the I-85 toll lanes in Gwinnett County, and crews will be closing lanes on the southbound side of the interstate in Suwanee.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. a lane will be closed at the start of the toll lane between McGinnis Ferry Road and Old Peachtree Road, a stretch of 2.6 miles, according to a news release from the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The shoulder will be closed along the same stretch of the road on the northbound side of the highway.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution when driving through a construction zone.
