The Region 8-AA boys and girls All-Region teams, as selected by region coaches, was announced this week.
Area teams Banks County and Rabun County piled up quite a few nominations. However, Putnam County players brought home Player of the Year honors despite the Rabun County girls and Banks County boys both winning the region titles.
