GAINESVILLE — The Lakeview Academy boys completed a perfect Region 8-A schedule Friday night after a 104-39 demolition of Providence Christian at home in their regular season finale.
The Lions (20-5, 15-0 Region 8-A) were led by Drew Cottrell with 24 points. Josh Randolph added 18 points, Adam Cottrell 12 points, and Tre Gober 10 points for Lakeview Academy. Ryan Lackey chipped in with seven assists.
Lakeview Academy next will play host to the Region 8-A Tournament. The Lions, who are one of two No. 1 seeds, will play their first game of the tournament on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
