Magnolia Windows & Doors, LLC, based in Baldwin, Georgia, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to have 100% of its membership interests purchased by Headwaters Incorporated. Magnolia Windows and Doors was founded in 1997 and serves seven states across the Southeastern United States. The company manufactures and distributes vinyl windows for new construction and vinyl replacement windows. This acquisition complements the window manufacturing business of Headwaters’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Headwaters Windows, LLC. Headwaters’ window business, based in Dallas, Texas, is a leading manufacturer of premium vinyl windows sold mainly into the new residential construction market.
Headwaters Incorporated trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol HW. The Company’s corporate offices are located in South Jordan, UT, but sales of its products and services extend all over the U.S., and some portions of Canada. Headwaters operates two core business segments; Headwaters Building Products segment and Headwaters Construction Materials segment.
The Building Products segment markets a wide variety of niche building products, including siding accessories, manufactured architectural stone, specialty roofing products and windows. Under the Construction Materials segment, Headwaters is the largest domestic manager and marketer of coal combustion products (“CCPs”), mainly fly ash. Utilization of high quality fly ash is used to help improve performance of concrete and concrete construction products. Also included in this business segment is a regional Texas block business, operating mainly in the Houston area.
“We are extremely pleased to join the Headwaters family,” said Jimmy Sisco, Magnolia’s General Manager. “Headwaters is a quality company, and is aggressively expanding its sales and manufacturing footprint in windows. We are pleased to be part of that expansion and look forward to growing our business under the Headwaters umbrella of building products companies.”
Sisco will remain with Headwaters as Vice President over the southeast United States.
