One injury in South Hall wreck

By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

A metro Atlanta man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on I-985 in South Hall Saturday afternoon.

Cpl. Luke Mize of the Georgia State Patrol said the driver, Nyamazabo Kisembo, 31, Clarkston, said he lost control of his minivan, a 2008 Hyundai Entourage, after it left the roadway while traveling north.

Mize said the front of the vehicle struck a cable barrier in the median and that it flipped over, coming to rest on its tires in the median.  He added after the minivan left the roadway, it traveled approximately 606 feet before coming to a stop.

Kisembo was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident happened near Spout Springs Road.
