MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The East Hall boys basketball team opened the Carolina Forest Classic tournament with a solid 79-53 win over Cathedral Academy out of South Carolina Wednesday.
The Vikings (3-4) were led by Jayvion Rucker's 16 points. Luke Cooper added 12 points and DJ Gray had 10 points for East Hall, which has now won two straight.
TJ Campbell also had 9 points for the Vikings, who will play Freedom Prep, N.C. at 4:30 Thursday.
