RABBITTOWN — Habersham Central nipped East Hall 164-161 in the first annual Viking Christmas Clash Tuesday at the East Hall gym.
The Vikings had four tournament champions in Ethan Powell (106-pounds), Luis Garcia (120), James Stoudenmire (145) and Blake Nix (170). East hal also had five other medalists with Raymound Grayble taking second at 285, Drew Highfield (132) and Mike Woods (152) finishing third, Alex Williams (126) and Raymon Castillo (182) posting fourth-place showing.
The Christmas Clash featured schools from across Georgia including Pierce County, Cartersville, Mary Persons, North Oconee, Habersham Central, Gainesville, Union County and host East Hall.
The Vikings next will compete next at the Amicallola Classic on Dec. 29-30 at Dawson County High School.
