Georgia Council for the Arts grants awarded several NE Ga. communities

The Georgia Council for the Arts recently announced the recipients of its Vibrant Communities grants.

Eighty-four entities, several of them in northeast Georgia, received $300,000 in funding.

GCA received 123 applications requesting more than $464,000. Applicants included libraries, schools, arts centers, cities, historical societies, community theatres, Boys & Girls Clubs, etc.
