Unicoi State Park and Lodge in Helen has added an indoor and outdoor archery and airgun range to the many activities already available at the park.
Park General Manager Chris Forbes told Fox 5 News in Atlanta that officials have developed 20 acres to include an outdoor archery and airgun range and an indoor 3D archery range.
"It is part of a federal and state partnership program and represents a more than $400,000 investment," Forbes said.
He adds the the ranges are open to all ages to learn about archery and target shooting, but also to improve team building skills and family bonding.
The indoor range features state of the art digital equipment to include images of many different types of wildlife, including of all things dinosaurs the range is considered a day use area, so usage runs only $5 for the whole day.
