Final week of early voting begins Monday

By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

The final week of early voting for the Nov. 7 municipal and special elections in Georgia begins Monday.

Included are contested races in Gainesville and a number of other northeast Georgia cities and counties.

Secretary of State Brian Kemp reminds Georgians that personalized voting information can be found on his office's website on the "My Voter Page."   There you will find voter registration status, view a sample ballot, and find polling locations and hours.

Individuals can find election information for county-level and state-level offices on the Secretary of State’s "qualified candidates" webpage. But you'll have to contact the appropriate municipal or county election office for information on municipal races.
