TIGER — The Banks County boys basketball team continue to keep rolling.
The Leopards beat Rabun County 58-49 Friday night in Region 8-AA, their 14th straight win, to improve to 17-4 overall and 9-0 in region play and stay atop the region standings.
Senior Kahmal Wiley had a monster game with 29 points, 14 rebounds, four steals, three assist, and two blocks to lead Banks County. Freshman Carl Cleveland added 17 points and four rebounds and Dylan Orr had six points, 11 rrebounds, four assists, and two clocks for the Leopards.
Banks County next will play host to second place Putnam County on Tuesday with a chance to clinch the regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming region tournament.
