BLAIRSVILLE — Luke Cooper drained a 3-pointer with two secons left to lift East Hall to a thrilling 70-68 win over Union County Friday night.
The clutch trey was Cooper's only field goal of the game for the Vikings, who needed a win to keep pace with Greater Atlanta Christian atop the Region 7-AA standings.
The Vikings improved to 15-6 overall and 9-1 in region play. GAC moved to 17-5 and 10-1 in the region fter walloping Lumpkin County 79-49 on Friday.
Sedrion Morse and Mahki Brown paced East Hall with 24 point each.
East Hall will play Jefferson at home on Saturday on Senior Night.
