A Lawrenceville man was charged in connection with an April break-in at North Hall High School.
Hall County authorities say Nicholas Spagnuolo, 20, and a juvenile accomplice entered two vehicles parked at the school, then entered the school's main office, damaging several doors at around 11 p.m. on April 1, following a North Hall soccer game. Among the items stolen were two iPad Minis as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
"The damage is in excess of $500," said Scott Ware, Lieutenant for the Hall County Sheriff's Office. "In fact, it's closer to $2,000 or more."
Spagnuolo is charged with two counts of entering auto, burglary and criminal damage to property.
He was arrested Saturday once deputies with the Warrants Division of the Hall County Sheriff's Office discovered he was being held at the Gwinnett County Jail after obtaining warrants for his arrest on June 24.
The other culprit to the crime was apprehended earlier in the summer, but authorities are unable to release his name because he is a minor.
Spagnuolo is currently being held at the Hall County Jail.
