BUFORD — Anthony Grant rolled to over 200 all-purpose yards and scored four times to lead Class AAAAA No. 3 Buford to a 49-6 rout of visiting Bishop Timons-St. Jude of Buffalo (N.Y.) Friday night at Tom Riden Stadium.

The Wolves (1-1) wasted little time as Derrian Brown capped the opening drive with 5-yard touchdown run for a 7-0 lead. After Buford forced a Bishop Timons punt, TD Roof gave Buford a 14-0 lead five minutes with a 3-yard scoring run.

The Wolves capped the 21-point outburst on the Tigers next possession blocking a punt and taking it in for a touchdown with 3:14 left in the opening quarter.

Grant then took over in the second quarter scoring on a 31-yard pass from Roof with 4:25 left in the half and then capped a capped 35-0 lead with a 69-yard touchdown run with just over two minutes left.

Grant added his second rushing touchdown of the game in the third quarter scoring on a 32-yard run and finished the night with a 12-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Bishop Rimons scored its only points on a 1-yard touchdown run by Matt Myers to cut the score to 21-7 midway through the second quarter.
