Wendy's restaurants in Gainesville, other North Georgia towns on list of those involved in company-wide data breach

More than three dozen outlets in Georgia are among the Wendy's restaurants affected by a company-wide data breach. 

Wendy's corporate offices released the list of affected restaurants this week. The list includes 1,025 restaurants where hackers stole credit and debit card information.

In Georgia, the hackers struck outlets in 31 cities and towns, according to Wendy's officials.

In Gainesville, the restaurant at 3646 Thompson Bridge Road was impacted by the breach. The website indicates the breach at the Gainesville restaurant occurred between December 2, 2015 and June 8, 2016. 

Other restaurants in the region impacted in the breach are located in Bethlehem, Blairsville, Blue Ridge, Clarkesville, Cleveland, Cornelia, Dahlonega, Ellijay and Toccoa.
